  • 8 oz fresh cremini mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the ingredients by slicing the beef, chopping the onions, and mincing the garlic.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Sauté the beef in batches until browned (about 3-4 minutes). Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add onions and mushrooms. Sauté until tender (5-7 minutes).
  4. Sprinkle flour over the vegetables and stir well. Gradually pour in beef broth while stirring until thickened. Add Worcestershire sauce and garlic; simmer for 2 minutes.
  5. Lower the heat, mix in sour cream until smooth; return cooked beef along with any juices to the skillet.
  6. Serve over egg noodles or rice and enjoy!
