- 2 lbs pork ribs (baby back or spare ribs)
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to 300°F (150°C) for indirect cooking.
- Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs and pat them dry.
- In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper to create the spice rub.
- Generously apply the spice rub all over the ribs.
- Place seasoned ribs on the grill away from direct heat. Close the lid and cook for about 2 hours until tender.
- In the last 30 minutes of grilling, brush on BBQ sauce generously for a sticky glaze.
- Let the ribs rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving with additional BBQ sauce.
