  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter (melted)

Instructions

  2. In a large bowl, mash the bananas until smooth.
  3. Mix in melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined; lumps are okay.
  6. Gently fold in dark chocolate chips.
  7. Spoon batter into lined muffin tins, filling each about two-thirds full.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
