  • 10 sheets phyllo dough
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup chopped pistachios
  • 16 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lay phyllo sheets on a clean surface, brushing each with melted butter before layering in a greased baking dish.
  2. Mix chopped nuts with cinnamon and sugar; spread half over phyllo layers. Repeat with more phyllo brushed with butter.
  3. Beat cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Gradually add sugar, honey, and vanilla, mixing until lump-free.
  4. Pour half of the cheesecake mixture over phyllo layers, then top with more phyllo and nuts before pouring remaining cheesecake mixture on top.
  5. Finish with a final layer of butter-brushed phyllo sheets. Bake for about 45 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Cool slightly before drizzling with honey syrup, cut into squares or wedges, and serve.
