- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tbsp red food coloring
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cocoa powder, eggs, food coloring, and vanilla until smooth. Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese with sugar and one egg until creamy; add vanilla extract.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the pan. Add dollops of cheesecake mixture on top and pour remaining brownie batter over it. Swirl gently with a knife.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean. Allow cooling before cutting into squares.
