  • 2 lbs pork ribs (baby back or spare)
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat (300°F/150°C).
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat dry.
  3. Coat the ribs with olive oil.
  4. In a bowl, mix brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper. Rub generously over both sides of the ribs.
  5. Place ribs over indirect heat and cook for about 2 hours with the lid closed.
  6. During the last 30 minutes, brush with BBQ sauce and move over direct heat to caramelize.
  7. Serve hot with additional sauce drizzled on top.
