- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb)
- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 1 cup buffalo sauce
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Season chicken with salt and pepper, then cook in a skillet over medium heat until no longer pink (6-7 minutes per side). Shred cooked chicken.
- Boil salted water in a pot. Add elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour for about 2 minutes. Gradually add milk while whisking until smooth. Stir in buffalo sauce and cheddar cheese until melted.
- In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken, macaroni, and cheese sauce. Mix well.
