Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, diced
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 sheet puff pastry (thawed)
  • 1 egg (optional for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the pastry and sprinkle diced strawberries on top.
  5. Roll the pastry tightly into a log shape and seal the edges.
  6. Place seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush with egg wash if desired.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
