Ingredients

- 1 lb Sicilian sausage
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat; sauté onion until translucent (about 5 minutes). Add garlic and sauté for another minute. Remove from heat to cool slightly.
- In a bowl, combine cooked onion and garlic with the sausage and parsley; mix well.
- Unroll puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into rectangles (5 inches wide).
- Place filling on one end of each rectangle; roll tightly to seal.
- Place rolls seam-side down on the baking sheet; brush with beaten egg for shine.
