  • 1 lb Sicilian sausage
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat; sauté onion until translucent (about 5 minutes). Add garlic and sauté for another minute. Remove from heat to cool slightly.
  3. In a bowl, combine cooked onion and garlic with the sausage and parsley; mix well.
  4. Unroll puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into rectangles (5 inches wide).
  5. Place filling on one end of each rectangle; roll tightly to seal.
  6. Place rolls seam-side down on the baking sheet; brush with beaten egg for shine.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
