  3. In another bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla bean seeds.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined; fold in chopped pistachios.
  6. Divide batter between pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow cakes to cool before removing from pans.
