  • 2 racks baby back ribs (approximately 4 lbs)
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Remove the silver skin from the ribs and season both sides generously with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar and smoked paprika. Rub this mixture evenly over the seasoned ribs.
  4. Wrap the ribs tightly in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until fork-tender.
  6. Unwrap the foil, brush BBQ sauce over both sides of the ribs, and bake uncovered for an additional 15-20 minutes until bubbly.
