Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by rinsing the shrimp and chopping the steak into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Cook fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente (about 8-10 minutes), then drain it while reserving 1 cup of pasta water.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Sauté seasoned steak for about 4-5 minutes until browned; then add shrimp and cook for another 3-4 minutes until pink.
  4. Reduce heat to low; add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan until melted and well combined.
  5. Combine the drained pasta with the sauce in the skillet; add reserved pasta water as needed to achieve desired consistency.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan or parsley if desired.
