Ingredients
  

Shrimp
  • 1 pound raw shrimp peeled and deveined
Marinade
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice about 4-6 limes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper adjust to taste
  • 1 clove garlic minced
Vegetables
  • 1 medium cucumber sliced
  • 1 medium red onion thinly sliced
  • 1 medium avocado sliced
  • 1/4 cup cilantro chopped

Method
 

Prepare the Shrimp
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the shrimp with lime juice, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and minced garlic. Mix well to coat the shrimp evenly.
Marinate
  1. Cover the bowl and let the shrimp marinate in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes, until they turn opaque.
Combine Ingredients
  1. Once marinated, add the sliced cucumber, red onion, and chopped cilantro to the shrimp mixture. Toss gently to combine.
Serve
  1. Arrange the aguachile on a serving platter and top with avocado slices. Serve immediately.
