A classic BLT sandwich made with crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, and ripe tomatoes, served on toasted bread.

Ingredients
  

Sandwich Components
  • 8 slices Bacon Crispy cooked
  • 4 slices Bread Toasted
  • 1 cup Lettuce Rinsed and dried
  • 1 large Tomato Sliced
  • 4 tablespoons Mayonnaise Optional

Method
 

Assemble the Sandwich
  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, then drain on paper towels.
  2. Toast the bread slices in a toaster until golden brown.
  3. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of toasted bread, if using.
  4. Layer lettuce, tomato slices, and bacon on one slice of bread.
  5. Top with another slice of bread, mayonnaise side down, and slice the sandwich in half to serve.
