Making the Syrup
- In a saucepan, combine the blueberries, sugar, and water.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
- Once boiling, reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes until the blueberries burst and the mixture thickens slightly.
- Remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Strain the syrup through a fine mesh strainer into a bottle or jar, pressing the blueberries to extract as much liquid as possible.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
