  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato diced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream for topping
Taco Shells
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying

Method

Prepare the Filling

  3. Remove from heat and mix in shredded cheese until melted.
Fry the Tacos
  1. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Place a corn tortilla in the hot oil and cook for about 30 seconds until it starts to bubble.
  3. Using tongs, fold the tortilla in half and continue frying until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
Assemble the Tacos
  1. Fill each crispy taco shell with the beef filling, then top with shredded lettuce, diced tomato, and a dollop of sour cream.
