Ingredients
  

  • 3 pounds chuck roast, cut into cubes
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 ounce packet au jus seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon steak seasoning
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 8 cloves garlic, minced or more to taste
  • 3/4 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Method
 

  1. Place sliced onions in the bottom of the slow cooker and sprinkle with au jus seasoning.
  2. Toss the beef cubes with steak seasoning and place them on top of the onions.
  3. Top with butter and minced garlic, then pour beef broth around the edges.
  4. Cover and cook on Low until the meat is tender, about 6 hours.
  5. Stir in chopped parsley just before serving.
