Ingredients
  

Sandwich Filling
  • 1 medium cucumber thinly sliced
  • 4 slices white bread crusts removed
  • 4 tablespoons cream cheese softened
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper

Method
 

Prepare the Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chopped dill, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth.
Assemble the Sandwiches
  1. Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Layer the cucumber slices evenly on top of the cream cheese on two of the slices.
  3. Top with the remaining slices of bread, cream cheese side down, to form sandwiches.
Cut and Serve
  1. Using a sharp knife, cut each sandwich into quarters or triangles. Arrange on a serving platter and serve immediately.

Notes
