Ingredients
  

  • 1 can (20 oz) apple pie filling
  • 0.5 cup chopped pecans
  • 0.5 cup jarred caramel ice cream topping
  • 1 box (15.25 oz) spice cake mix
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, cubed
  • vanilla ice cream for serving

Method
 

  1. Grease crockpot with cooking spray.
  2. Dump in apple pie filling and spread with a spatula to evenly cover the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Top filling with pecans and then caramel.
  4. Pour in cake mix and use your hands to spread it out evenly and gently press it down.
  5. Top with cubed butter.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW for 4-6 hours, or until cake is cooked to your liking.
  7. Scoop and serve with vanilla ice cream and an extra sprinkle of pecans and drizzle of caramel.
