Ingredients
  

  • 32 ounce frozen hash browns cubed or shredded, defrosted
  • 16 ounce French onion dip prepared
  • 10.5 ounce condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 8 tablespoons butter divided
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons dried minced onion
  • 8 ounces shredded white cheddar cheese
  • 0.5 cup cooked and crumbed bacon
  • 2 cups buttery round crackers

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350?F.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together French onion dip, cream of chicken soup, 4 tablespoons of the melted butter, salt, pepper, and dried onion.
  3. Once combined, stir in the potatoes, cheese, and bacon.
  4. Pour the mixture into a buttered 13?x9? pan.
  5. In a small bowl, stir together cracker crumbs and the remaining butter. Sprinkle the crumble over the top of the potato mixture.
  6. Bake uncovered at 50-60 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. If desired, garnish with additional cooked and crumbled bacon and green onions.
