Salmon Balls
  • 1 lb salmon (skinless, boneless)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions (finely chopped)
  • 1/4 cup red bell pepper (finely chopped)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger (grated)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
Creamy Garlic Sauce
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Add salmon to a food processor and pulse until finely chopped but not pureed.
  3. In a large bowl, mix chopped salmon, breadcrumbs, vegetables, garlic, ginger, egg, sauces, and seasoning.
  4. Shape the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on the baking sheet.
  5. Cook for 15–20 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
Sauce Preparation
  1. Mix mayonnaise, sour cream, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth for the sauce.
  2. Refrigerate the sauce for 15 minutes before serving to enhance flavor.
Serving
