Ingredients
  

Cake Base
  • 1 box cake mix any flavor
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
Decoration
  • 1 cup chocolate melts various colors
  • 1/4 cup sprinkles Easter-themed
Additional
  • 1 cup frosting store-bought or homemade

Method
 

Prepare the Cake
  1. Preheat the oven to 350?F (175?C). Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Allow the cake to cool completely.
Make Cake Pops
  1. Crumble the cooled cake into a large bowl. Add frosting and mix until combined.
  2. Form the mixture into egg shapes and place them on a baking sheet. Freeze for 15 minutes.
Decorate
  1. Melt the chocolate melts in a microwave-safe bowl according to package instructions.
  2. Dip the end of each cake pop stick into the melted chocolate and insert it into each cake pop.
  3. Dip each cake pop into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off. Decorate with sprinkles while the chocolate is still wet.
  4. Place the decorated cake pops upright in a styrofoam block to set.

Notes

Store cake pops in the refrigerator for up to a week. They can also be frozen for longer storage.
