Preparation
- Boil your potatoes in salted water until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes thoroughly and return them to the pot. Let them sit for a few minutes to evaporate any excess moisture.
- Mash the potatoes using a potato masher or ricer until smooth and fluffy. Incorporate butter, cream, salt, and pepper to taste.
- Pipe the potato mixture onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper using a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
- Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes or until they turn golden brown on top.
- Garnish with fresh herbs or a sprinkle of paprika before serving.
