Bread Preparation
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and yeast. Stir in rosemary and garlic. Gradually add warm water and olive oil, stirring until a sticky dough forms.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rest at room temperature for 12-18 hours.
Shaping and Rising
- After resting, turn the dough out onto a floured surface and gently shape it into a round loaf. Handle minimally to maintain the airy texture.
- Place the shaped dough on parchment paper and allow it to rise for 30-40 minutes.
Baking
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) with a Dutch oven inside to heat up.
- Carefully transfer the dough (on parchment) into the preheated Dutch oven. Cover and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the lid and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the crust is golden and crisp.
Cooling and Serving
- Allow the bread to cool for at least 10-15 minutes before slicing. Enjoy warm with butter or olive oil!
