Ingredients
  

  • 8-12 slices vegan bakery white bread
  • ½ cup vegan butter (112 grams)
  • teaspoons garlic powder (2 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon oregano (1 gram)
  • ½ teaspoon salt (2 grams)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, minced (4 grams)

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet pan with parchment paper.
  2. Place the bread in an even layer onto the lined sheet pan.
  3. Melt butter in the microwave.
  4. Add the garlic powder, oregano, and salt to the butter and whisk to combine.
  5. Brush both sides of each piece of bread with the butter mixture.
  6. Toast the bread in the oven for 12 – 15 minutes, flipping the bread over halfway through.
  7. When the bread is done, sprinkle the minced parsley on top and serve.
  8. Store leftovers in an airtight food-safe container or freezer bag and freeze for up to 1 month. To reheat, place the toast in the toaster, or on a lined baking sheet pan at the same temperature for 5 – 8 minutes.

Notes

Feel free to add spices to the butter mix, such as red pepper flakes for some heat or use fresh garlic instead of powder for enhanced flavor.
