Ingredients
  

Onion and Butter Mix
  • 1 large sweet yellow onion, sliced
  • 12 tablespoons softened unsalted butter, divided
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.125 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic (1-2 cloves)
  • 0.5 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.125 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 0.5 tablespoon chopped parsley

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Place the sliced onion, 2 tablespoons of the butter, ? teaspoon salt, and a pinch of black pepper in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Cook the onions, stirring frequently, for 45 minutes, until they have caramelized into a deep brown color.
  3. Remove from heat and set aside to cool for 5-10 minutes.
  4. Place the remaining 10 tablespoons butter, the caramelized onions, garlic, Worcestershire, thyme, parsley, and a pinch of salt & pepper into the bowl of a food processor.
  5. Pulse until the ingredients are fully incorporated and the mixture is smooth.
  6. Refrigerate until ready to serve!
