Ingredients
  

Lamb Chops
  • 4 pieces lamb chops preferably rib or loin chops
Garlic Butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

Prepare the Lamb Chops
  1. Season the lamb chops with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  2. Let them sit at room temperature for about 15 minutes.
Cook the Lamb Chops
  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of olive oil.
  2. Once hot, add the lamb chops and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
  3. Use a meat thermometer to check for an internal temperature of 135?F (57?C).
Make the Garlic Butter
  1. In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme.
  2. Once the lamb chops are cooked, remove them from the skillet and pour the garlic butter over them.
Serve
  1. Let the lamb chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  2. Serve with your choice of sides and enjoy!
