Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk warm
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 large egg
Filling
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter softened
Glaze
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add melted butter, egg, salt, and flour to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Prepare the Filling
  1. In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter until well combined.
Assemble the Bread
  1. Preheat the oven to 350?F (175?C).
  2. Roll out the dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
  3. Spread the cinnamon filling evenly over the dough.
  4. Roll the dough tightly from the long side and place it seam-side down in a greased loaf pan.
  5. Let the dough rise again for about 30 minutes.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
Prepare the Glaze
  1. In a bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
Finish the Bread
  1. Once the bread is baked, let it cool for 10 minutes before drizzling with the glaze.
  2. Slice and serve warm.
