Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients
  • 2 cups Gluten-Free All-Purpose Flour Ensure it's a blend with xanthan gum
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 packet Instant Yeast
  • 3/4 cup Warm Water Around 110?F
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
Baking Solution
  • 1 cup Baking Soda For boiling pretzels
  • 10 cups Water For boiling
Topping
  • 1 tablespoon Coarse Sea Salt For sprinkling on top

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine gluten-free flour, salt, sugar, and instant yeast.
  2. Add warm water and olive oil, and mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  4. Cover the bowl with a cloth and let it rise for 30 minutes.
Shape the Pretzels
  1. Preheat the oven to 425?F (220?C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll each piece into a long rope.
  3. Shape each rope into a pretzel shape and place on the prepared baking sheet.
Boil and Bake
  1. In a saucepan, bring 10 cups of water to a boil and add baking soda.
  2. Carefully drop each pretzel into the boiling water for about 30 seconds, then remove and place back on the baking sheet.
  3. Sprinkle with coarse sea salt and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
