Ingredients
  

Halloumi Cheese
  • 400 grams halloumi cheese sliced into 1 cm thick slices
Marinade
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
Garnish
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint chopped

Method
 

Prepare the Marinade
  1. In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt.
Marinate the Halloumi
  1. Place the halloumi slices in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
Grill the Halloumi
  1. Preheat the grill or grilling pan over medium-high heat. Grill the halloumi slices for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Serve
  1. Transfer the grilled halloumi to a serving plate, sprinkle with chopped parsley and mint, and serve immediately.
