Herb Butter Grilled Salmon

Ingredients
  

Salmon
  • 4 fillets salmon fillets skin-on or skinless
Herb Butter
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Method
 

Prepare the Herb Butter
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, parsley, dill, chives, garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Prepare the Salmon
  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
Grill the Salmon
  1. Place the salmon fillets on the grill, skin-side down. Grill for about 5-6 minutes.
  2. Carefully flip the fillets and spread a generous amount of herb butter on top. Grill for an additional 4-5 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Serve
  1. Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Serve with additional herb butter if desired.

Notes
