Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs mushrooms cleaned and trimmed
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 Tablespoon dark soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar optional
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • handful fresh herbs chopped, for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Clean the mushrooms and trim the edges off the stem. Add them to a large bowl.
  2. Add the garlic, vegetable oil, dark soy sauce, and balsamic vinegar to the mushrooms and toss to combine until the mushrooms are well coated.
  3. Transfer the mushrooms to a baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees F for 15 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste and garnish with fresh herbs. Serve immediately or store for later.

Notes
