Ingredients
  

Matcha Base
  • 4 teaspoons matcha powder high quality
  • 2 cups hot water not boiling
Lavender Honey Syrup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons dried lavender buds culinary grade
Latte Assembly
  • 2 cups milk dairy or non-dairy
  • 2 cups ice

Method
 

Prepare Lavender Honey Syrup
  1. In a small saucepan, combine water, honey, and dried lavender buds. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring until honey dissolves. Remove from heat and let steep for 15 minutes. Strain and cool.
Prepare Matcha
  1. In a bowl, whisk matcha powder with hot water until smooth and frothy.
Assemble the Latte
  1. In a glass, add ice, then pour in the milk. Add the cooled lavender honey syrup and stir well.
  2. Top with the prepared matcha and gently stir to combine.

Notes

For a stronger lavender flavor, increase the amount of dried lavender buds in the syrup.
