Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 1 loaf Kings Hawaiian bread sliced into pieces
  • 1/4 cup milk warm
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1/4 cup butter melted
Filling
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar packed
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter softened
Icing
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons milk adjust for consistency
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method
 

Prepare the Dough
  1. Preheat the oven to 350?F (175?C). In a mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, warm milk, and beaten egg. Mix well.
  2. Add the sliced Kings Hawaiian bread to the mixture and gently fold until the bread is coated.
Make the Filling
  1. In a separate bowl, mix together the brown sugar and ground cinnamon.
  2. Spread the softened butter over the dough mixture, then sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly on top.
Roll and Bake
  1. Carefully roll the dough into a log shape and slice into equal pieces. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Prepare the Icing
  1. While the rolls are baking, whisk together the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Once the rolls are done, drizzle the icing over the warm rolls before serving.
