  • sesame seeds for garnish
  • soy sauce and/or gochugaru flakes optional for heat

Cooking Steps
  1. Bring a large pot of water with a teaspoon of salt to a boil. Blanch the broccoli florets for about 2 minutes (1 minute longer for softer broccoli) and immediately transfer to an ice bath. Drain and pat dry.
  2. Place the drained broccoli into a mixing bowl and season with sesame oil, minced garlic, and kosher salt to taste. Adjust seasonings as needed and feel free to add a splash of soy sauce or some gochugaru flakes for heat. Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
