Ingredients
  

Avocado Base
  • 2 medium ripe avocados peeled and pitted
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice freshly squeezed
Korean Flavorings
  • 1 tablespoon gochujang Korean chili paste
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil for added flavor
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce low sodium preferred
Vegetables
  • 1 small red onion finely chopped
  • 1 small tomato diced
  • 1 small cucumber diced
  • 2 stalks green onions sliced
Garnish
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds toasted
  • 1 tablespoon cilantro chopped

Method
 

Prepare the Avocado
  1. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe avocados with a fork until smooth but still slightly chunky.
Mix in Flavorings
  1. Add lime juice, gochujang, sesame oil, and soy sauce to the mashed avocados. Mix well to combine.
Add Vegetables
  1. Fold in the chopped red onion, diced tomato, cucumber, and sliced green onions.
Garnish and Serve
  1. Top the guacamole with toasted sesame seeds and chopped cilantro before serving.
