Ingredients
  

Limoncello Base
  • 10 medium lemons zested
  • 750 ml vodka high quality
  • 500 g granulated sugar
  • 500 ml water filtered

Method
 

Prepare the Limoncello
  1. Zest the lemons carefully, avoiding the white pith, and place the zest in a large jar.
  2. Pour the vodka over the lemon zest, seal the jar, and let it infuse in a cool, dark place for at least 7 days.
  3. After 7 days, combine the sugar and water in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely.
  4. Let the syrup cool, then combine it with the lemon-infused vodka, mixing well.
  5. Strain the mixture through a fine strainer into a clean bottle, discarding the lemon zest.
  6. Seal the bottle and refrigerate for at least 24 hours before serving.

Notes
