Ingredients
  

Mousse Base
  • 1 cup heavy cream chilled
  • 1/2 cup limoncello
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest fresh
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin powder dissolved in 2 tablespoons of water
Garnish
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest for topping
  • 4 mint leaves fresh mint for decoration

Method
 

Prepare the Gelatin
  1. In a small bowl, dissolve the gelatin powder in 2 tablespoons of water and let it sit for 5 minutes.
Make the Mousse
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the chilled heavy cream, limoncello, sugar, lemon zest, and vanilla extract.
  2. Using a whisk, whip the mixture until soft peaks form.
  3. Gently fold in the dissolved gelatin until fully incorporated.
  4. Spoon the mousse into serving glasses and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.
Serve
  1. Once set, garnish each mousse with additional lemon zest and a mint leaf before serving.

Notes

For a stronger lemon flavor, increase the amount of lemon zest. Ensure the heavy cream is well chilled for better whipping results.
