Ingredients
  

Burgers
  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 blend for best flavor
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
Toppings
  • 8 oz mushrooms sliced
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil for saut?ing mushrooms
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Buns
  • 4 pieces burger buns to serve

Method
 

Prepare the Burger Mixture
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
Form the Patties
  1. Divide the beef mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties.
Prepare the Foil Packets
  1. Cut 4 large pieces of aluminum foil. Place one patty in the center of each piece of foil.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Saut? sliced mushrooms until tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Divide the saut?ed mushrooms evenly over each patty and top with a slice of Swiss cheese.
Seal and Cook
  1. Fold the foil over the patties to create sealed packets. Cook on a grill or in the oven at 400?F (200?C) for about 30 minutes.
Serve
  1. Carefully open the foil packets and serve the burgers on buns.
