Ingredients
  

Vegetables
  • 4 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
Dressing
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil

Method
 

Prepare the Vegetables
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded cabbage and carrots.
Make the Dressing
  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together the apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, black pepper, and vegetable oil until well combined.
Combine and Toss
  1. Pour the dressing over the cabbage and carrots, and toss until the vegetables are evenly coated.
Chill and Serve
  1. Let the slaw sit for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
