Mushroom Rice Ingredients
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 2.5 cups Rice Cooked & Cooled
  • 3 cups Mushrooms shiitake, shimeji, and oyster mushrooms
  • 0.5 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1.5 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • Seaweed Powder
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Dashi Powder

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Add 2 tbsp of butter to a pan and turn the heat to medium-high.
  2. Once the pan is hot, add the mushrooms, 1.5 tbsp of soy sauce, and 0.5 tsp of black pepper.
  3. Saute the mushrooms for 3-4 minutes or until fragrant.
  4. Mix 2 tbsp of soy sauce, 1 tsp of sugar, and 1 tsp of dashi powder.
  5. Add the rice, pour on the sauce, and saute on high heat for another 2-3 minutes, ensuring all the rice is coated in the sauce and butter.
  6. Optional: Finish off with another 1 tbsp of butter and saute on high heat for another 1 minute.
  7. Garnish with seaweed powder and green onion, and enjoy.
