Mixing and Kneading
- Add the flour and yogurt to a large mixing bowl and use a spatula to mix it together until a thick dough forms. Add some extra yogurt a little at a time if needed.
- Dust a little flour on a cutting board or clean surface and knead the dough with your hands for a few minutes before forming it into a ball. Let your dough sit at room temperature for up to 10 minutes before you start kneading if you have a little extra time.
Shaping the Bagels
- Use a pastry cutter or knife to cut the dough into four even sections, roll each into a ball and then poke your thumb through the center to form four bagels.
Baking
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place your bagels on the sheet. Coat each bagel with the egg wash if desired. Sprinkle everything bagel seasoning or your other favorite seasonings over each bagel.
- Bake at 350?F (177?C) for 22-24 minutes.
Cooling
- Let bagels cool for 5 minutes on a wire rack before serving.

Notes
Feel free to customize your bagels by adding herbs or cheese to the dough. For longer storage, freeze them and reheat in the oven or toaster for best results.
