Method
- Cook rice according to package instructions.
- Defrost the broccoli using a steamer basket or in the microwave. Once defrosted, chop the broccoli into small florets.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef, season with salt and black pepper, and break it up with a wooden spatula. Cook, stirring frequently, until no longer pink (about 4 minutes). Drain excess grease using a paper towel.
- While the beef is cooking, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and sriracha.
- Reduce the heat to low and add the sauce to the same pan. Once the sauce bubbles, whisk and add cornstarch to prevent clumps from forming.
- Add cooked ground beef and defrosted steamed broccoli back into the pan. Stir to combine and cook for about 5 minutes to heat the broccoli.
- Serve over rice and top with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
