Ingredients
  

Pasta
  • 12 oz Rigatoni
Sausage
  • 1 lb Italian Sausage Remove casings
Vegetables
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 medium Onion Chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 bunch Swiss Chard Chopped, stems removed
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes Halved
Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes Optional
  • 1 tsp Salt To taste
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper To taste
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese Grated, for serving

Method
 

Cook the Pasta
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add rigatoni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cook the Sausage
  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sausage and cook, breaking it up with a wooden spoon, until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
Add Vegetables
  1. Add chopped onion and garlic to the skillet. Saut? until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  2. Stir in the Swiss chard and cherry tomatoes. Cook until the chard is wilted and the tomatoes are softened, about 5 minutes.
Combine and Serve
  1. Add the cooked rigatoni to the skillet. Toss everything together, adding red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper to taste.
  2. Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
