Method
Prepare the Pudding
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- Stir in milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until combined.
Create the Sauce
- Pour the pudding mixture into the greased baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix brown sugar and cocoa powder. Sprinkle evenly over the pudding mixture.
- Carefully pour hot water over the top of the pudding mixture. Do not stir.
Bake
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the top is set.
- Let cool for a few minutes before serving. The sauce will be underneath the pudding.
