Ingredients
  

Seafood and Vegetables
  • 1 lb large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb small red potatoes halved
  • 2 ears corn cut into thirds
  • 1 lb smoked sausage sliced
Spices and Seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tbsp salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp black pepper to taste
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 lemon juiced
Water
  • 4 qt water

Method
 

Prepare Ingredients
  1. In a large pot, bring the water to a boil. Add the Old Bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Add the halved potatoes and cook for about 10 minutes until they start to soften.
  3. Add the sliced sausage and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Add the corn and cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Finally, add the shrimp and minced garlic, cooking until the shrimp are pink and opaque, about 3-5 minutes.
Serve
  1. Drain the pot using a colander and transfer the shrimp boil to a serving platter.
  2. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top and serve hot.
