Ingredients
  

Ribs
  • 2 lbs pork ribs baby back or spare ribs
Dry Rub
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper optional for heat
BBQ Sauce
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce your favorite brand

Method
 

Prepare the Ribs
  1. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor absorption.
  2. In a bowl, mix all the dry rub ingredients together.
  3. Generously apply the dry rub to both sides of the ribs, ensuring even coverage.
Preheat the Smoker
  1. Preheat your pellet smoker to 225?F (107?C).
Smoke the Ribs
  1. Place the ribs in the smoker bone side down and smoke for 3 hours.
  2. After 3 hours, wrap the ribs in aluminum foil and return to the smoker for an additional 1.5 hours.
Finish and Serve
  1. Unwrap the ribs and brush with BBQ sauce. Smoke for another 30 minutes.
  2. Remove from the smoker, let rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve.

Notes

For best results, let the ribs marinate with the dry rub for at least 2 hours or overnight in the refrigerator.
