Method
Prepare the Ribs
- Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor absorption.
- In a bowl, mix all the dry rub ingredients together.
- Generously apply the dry rub to both sides of the ribs, ensuring even coverage.
Preheat the Smoker
- Preheat your pellet smoker to 225?F (107?C).
Smoke the Ribs
- Place the ribs in the smoker bone side down and smoke for 3 hours.
- After 3 hours, wrap the ribs in aluminum foil and return to the smoker for an additional 1.5 hours.
Finish and Serve
- Unwrap the ribs and brush with BBQ sauce. Smoke for another 30 minutes.
- Remove from the smoker, let rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve.
