Making the Dough
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour with ? cup of sesame oil and ? cup of honey. Stir until well blended; the mixture should be smooth and slightly sticky.
- Transfer the mixture to a floured surface and knead it gently for about 5 minutes until elastic.
- Divide the dough into small balls, flatten slightly, and create decorative patterns.
Frying the Cookies
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat (around 350?F). Fry the shaped cookies for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- While cookies are frying, mix 1 cup of honey with ? cup of water in a saucepan over low heat until combined.
- Remove cookies from oil, drain excess oil, and dip each cookie into the warm honey syrup for several seconds.
