- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 large egg

- 2 cups tart apples (like Granny Smith), diced
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened (for frosting)
- 2 cups powdered sugar (for frosting)

- Roll Out: Punch down the dough and roll into a rectangle (16×12 inches).
- Fill: Spread butter over dough; mix cinnamon and brown sugar together and sprinkle on top. Add diced apples.
- Roll Up: Tightly roll from one edge to form a log and cut into twelve equal pieces.
- Bake & Frost: Place rolls in a greased baking dish; let rise for another 30 minutes while preheating oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for about 25 minutes until golden. Make frosting by blending cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth; drizzle over warm rolls.
