- 28 oz fire-roasted diced tomatoes (canned)
- 15 oz tomato sauce (canned)
- 4 cups low-sodium beef broth
- 2 tsp dried Italian seasoning
- 8 oz lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
- 15 oz ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain excess fat and add onions and garlic; sauté until fragrant.
- Transfer the meat mixture to a slow cooker. Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, and Italian seasoning; stir to combine.
- Break lasagna noodles into small pieces and add them to the slow cooker; mix well.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours.
- Stir in ricotta cheese about 15 minutes before serving. Top with mozzarella cheese before serving.
